Ever since junior high, I’ve had a fascination for graffiti art.  I remember walking to the local bookstore down the block to look for the latest issue of The Source Magazine – opening the new issue starting from the back cover I eagerly searched for the one page that focused on graffiti art.  And in most of the features the articles put the spotlight on “Seen” who eventually became my inspiration during classroom and lectures.  Though the extent of my doodles only surfaced in my notebooks and on some very old old tees,  I felt thoroughly excited when my man E gave me one of his first hand made squeeze markers.  The Barakuda: fade proof, made in Chicago, and available soon.

Here are a few colors we sampled through for one of our latest designs, finding the right Blue/Orange is crucial since all die-hard sports fan live and die by our colors.  Any guesses on what this might become?

We don’t have the bright lights of L.A., nor the bustle of New York, but one thing Chicago does have is good food.  I’m willing to bet the average American household’s Thanksgiving celebration lasts 4-5 hours… maybe a day at most.  Ours ran 3 days long this year! During our Thanksgivingthon I got stooopid over turkey, mediterranean food, and Maxwell Street Polishes.  It hurts so good.
