SEE YOU IN OCTOBER

Thanks for an awesome season guys! What the Bulls were able to accomplish in the 2009 NBA season was “where AMAZING happened”. The challenges they faced were many. The Bulls entered the 2009 NBA Season with a very young rookie in Derrick Rose who had to live up to the expectations of #1 Draft Pick, Vinny Del Negro who had zero coaching experience was now holding the reins, and players who’ve repeatedly been mentioned in trade rumors had to play for a team that no longer had their back. Jerry Reinsdorf the Bulls owner, made his displeasure of the Bulls very clear as the season neared the mid-season mark. But they stuck through it and began playing better basketball and before we knew it, the Bulls were contenders for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. They slowly crept up to the 7th and even as high as the 6th seed. The young Bulls team entered the Boston series as a serious underdog, analysts predicted a sweep. No one would guess that this series would end in a decisive game seven and become arguably one of the best playoff series in NBA history. For me, the series was the 2009 NBA Finals. We were defeated in game 7 and Boston took the series. But heres the question, could we take Boston if this were a 9 games series? Cant wait to hear Stacey King and Neil Funk commentate on a much more experienced Bulls squad next season.
